Energy StarŪ Plan Review
The Energy Inspectors plan review lets the builder know whether or not the proposed home meets the requirements to qualify under the Energy Star program and provides recommendations for increasing the home’s energy efficiency if necessary.
Energy Star Testing & Certification
The Energy Star testing and certification service verifies the increased energy efficiency and resulting energy savings of the new home as specified by the building plans. The Energy Inspectors technician, through diagnostic testing and visual verification, documents that the energy features specified in the plans have been installed, and that the home has passed all inspections and tests as required by the Energy Star program.
Title 24 Plan Review
The Energy Inspectors plan review lets the builder know whether or not the proposed home meets the California Title 24 residential building requirements and provides recommendations for meeting these requirements if necessary.
Title 24 Diagnostics & Field Verification
Energy Inspectors provides diagnostic and field verification services for energy efficient measures as specified under California’s Title 24. These services include:
  • Duct air sealing
  • ACCA Manual D design and installation
  • Building envelope sealing
  • Thermostatic expansion valves
  • Duct surface area reductions
  • Duct location improvements

    Energy Efficient Construction (EEC) Certification
    The Energy Inspectors Energy Efficient Construction (EEC) certification program assists builders, trade contractors and job superintendents. The program provides on-site training of trade contractors and job superintendents, reinforcing their knowledge of energy efficiency and how it relates to the construction process.
    Energy Efficient Construction (EEC) Compliance
    The EEC Compliance service assures the homebuilder that each home built adheres to the energy efficient levels specified in the building plans. The Energy Inspectors technician will observe and test every home at specific stages of construction to ensure that the energy efficient features of the home have been installed properly and that energy efficient construction practices are being followed.
    Climate Zone - Marketing & Sales Program
    The “Climate Zone” is a customizable marketing and sales program created by Energy Inspectors for the homebuilder. Each program is designed to increase the number of homebuyers that purchase energy efficient products and increase the gross profit of each sale.
